1. INTRODUCTION

These Platform Rules set out the ethos of The LX Room and the standards we expect from all Members and Suppliers who use our exclusive platform.

These Platform Rules should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which together form the complete agreement between you and The LX Room regarding your use of the Platform.

2. OUR CORE VALUES

2.1 Discretion

The privacy and confidentiality of our Members and Suppliers is paramount. The LX Room is an exclusive, private platform built on trust and discretion. We expect all users to respect this foundation and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.

2.2 Integrity

The integrity of The LX Room community depends on honest, ethical, and professional conduct from all Members and Suppliers. We trust that you will use the Platform only for lawful and appropriate purposes, and that you will deal with others fairly and honestly.

2.3 Excellence

We curate an exceptional community and expect all Members and Suppliers to uphold standards of excellence in their interactions, transactions, and conduct on the Platform.

3. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

You must not:

• Disclose, publish, discuss, or reference the activities, identities, or presence of any Members or Suppliers on the Platform without their express consent
• Share screenshots, photographs, or other content from the Platform outside the Platform
• Discuss specific offerings, transactions, or communications from the Platform in public forums, social media, or with third parties
• Reveal your membership or the existence of specific offerings until an agreement to proceed has been reached with the relevant Supplier
• Share your login credentials or allow others to access the Platform using your account

Exceptions: You may share information about your own activities on the Platform as necessary to complete transactions, but you must always protect the privacy of other Members and Suppliers.

4. COMMITMENT TO DELIVERY

4.1 For Members

• Engage with Suppliers honestly and in good faith
• Provide accurate delivery information and contact details
• Respond promptly to Supplier communications
• Honour payment commitments made to Suppliers
• Treat Suppliers with respect

4.2 For Suppliers

• Accurately describe all goods, services, events, and experiences you offer
• Deliver exactly what you promise in your listings
• Fulfil transactions in accordance with the terms you have agreed with Members
• Respond promptly and professionally to Member inquiries
• Notify Members immediately if you are unable to fulfil any offering
• Maintain the quality standards expected of a luxury platform

Failure to fulfil your commitments and obligations may result in suspension or termination of your membership account.

5. PLATFORM ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

5.1 Important Notice

The LX Room does not have complete control over every transaction between Members and Suppliers, and from time to time, the supplier may be The LX Room.

The LX Room is a private meeting place that connects Members with Suppliers. Any agreement for the purchase, supply, or provision of offerings is directly between the Member and the Supplier. From time to time, this may be The LX Room.

5.2 As a Member

• You are responsible for making clear any specific requirements, obligations, or terms in your communications
• You acknowledge that The LX Room has no liability for the performance, quality, or outcome of any transaction
• You understand that dispute resolution is your responsibility

5.3 As a Supplier

• We recommend putting your own terms and conditions in place where appropriate, particularly for high-value transactions
• We recommend making your returns and refunds policy known to the customer prior to any transaction taking place.
• You acknowledge that The LX Room has no liability for the performance, quality, or outcome of any transaction
• You understand that dispute resolution is your responsibility

6. LAWFUL USE ONLY

You may only use The LX Room for lawful purposes.

You must not use the Platform:

• In any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• In any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect
• In relation to counterfeit, stolen, or illegally obtained goods
• To offer or request illegal goods or services
• For any inappropriate, unethical, or unlawful purpose
• To engage in money laundering, fraud, or other financial crimes
• To evade taxes or other legal obligations
• To facilitate or promote any illegal activity

7. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You must not:

• Send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material that does not comply with our Content Standards (see below)
• Transmit or procure the sending of any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional material, spam, or solicitations to other Members or Suppliers
• Use the Platform to recruit Members or Suppliers to other platforms or services
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees or obligations
• Harvest or collect information about Members or Suppliers for purposes outside the Platform
• Knowingly transmit any data, send, or upload any material that contains viruses, malware, Trojan horses, worms, spyware, or any other harmful code
• Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security of the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other user accounts, or our systems
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Platform
• Manipulate, game, or abuse any Platform features or systems
• Create multiple accounts or use false identities
• Impersonate any person or entity

8. CONTENT STANDARDS

These content standards apply to any content you upload, post, or communicate on The LX Room, including listings, messages, profile information, inquiries, and any other content ("Contributions").

8.1 Important Disclaimers

We cannot review, monitor, or control all Contributions posted by Members or Suppliers. We accept no liability for:

• The quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of offerings listed by Suppliers
• The truth or accuracy of listings, profiles, descriptions, or communications
• The ability of Suppliers to fulfil what they offer
• Whether a Member or Supplier will complete a transaction
• The conduct, representations, or actions of any Member or Supplier

8.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your Contributions, including their accuracy, truthfulness, legality, and compliance with these rules. You agree to comply with both the spirit and the letter of the following standards.

The standards apply to each part of any Contribution as well as to the whole.

8.3 Content Requirements

Contributions MUST:

• Be accurate where they state facts
• Be genuinely held where they state opinions
• Comply with applicable law in the UK and in addition, in any country from which they are posted
• Be respectful, professional, and appropriate for a luxury platform
• Relate to legitimate luxury lifestyle, goods, services, events, or experiences
• Include all material information that a reasonable person would expect to know
• Be your own original content or content you have the right to use

Contributions MUST NOT:

• Contain any material that is defamatory, libelous, or slanderous of any person
• Contain any material that is obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, or inappropriate
• Promote or contain sexually explicit material
• Promote violence or violent behaviour
• Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected characteristic
• Infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, database right, or other intellectual property right of any person
• Be likely to deceive, mislead, or defraud any person
• Be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or duty of confidence
• Promote, facilitate, or encourage any illegal activity
• Be threatening, abusive, harassing, or invade another's privacy
• Cause annoyance, inconvenience, or needless anxiety to any person
• Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy any other person
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation
• Give the impression that they emanate from The LX Room when they do not
• Advocate, promote, or assist any unlawful act
• Contain false or misleading claims about products or services
• Make guarantees or promises you cannot keep
• Include pricing that is misleading or constitutes price gouging

9. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

If you believe that another Member or Supplier is in breach of these Platform Rules, our Content Standards, or our Terms of Use, please report it to us immediately at info@thelxroom.com.

Please provide as much detail as possible, including:

• The username or profile of the user in violation
• The nature of the violation
• Evidence (if available)
• When and where the violation occurred

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

10. ENFORCEMENT

10.1 Our Discretion

It will be at our sole discretion whether there has been a breach of these Platform Rules. We are not obligated to monitor the Platform but reserve the right to do so.

10.2 Consequences of Breach

Any breach of these Platform Rules constitutes a material breach of our Terms of Use and may result in us taking any or all the following actions:

• Issuing a warning to you
• Immediate temporary or permanent removal of any Contributions
• Immediate temporary or permanent suspension of your access to the Platform
• Immediate termination of your membership or Supplier account
• Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs and losses incurred
• Further legal action against you, including claims for damages
• Disclosure of information to law enforcement authorities as we deem necessary
• Prohibition from creating future accounts on the Platform

We reserve the right to take such action without prior notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your conduct warrants immediate action.

10.3 Impact on the Community

Please remember that your behaviour may impact the ability of other Members and Suppliers to enjoy the benefits we work hard to create. We have built The LX Room to be an exceptional, exclusive platform, and we will protect that environment.

If you fail to uphold these standards, we may have to say goodbye to you. We sincerely hope it does not come to that.

11. RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT

Beyond the specific rules outlined above, we expect all Members and Suppliers to:

• Treat all Members, Suppliers, and The LX Room staff with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
• Communicate clearly, honestly, and promptly
• Honour your commitments and obligations
• Protect the privacy and confidentiality of others
• Resolve disputes amicably and professionally
• Report problems or concerns to us rather than taking matters into your own hands
• Use the Platform in a manner that enhances, rather than diminishes, the community
• Uphold the values of discretion, integrity, and excellence

12. CHANGES TO THESE RULES

We may revise these Platform Rules at any time by updating this page and changing the "Last Updated" date above.

You are expected to check this page periodically to take notice of any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you. We may not always be able to notify you individually of changes, though we will endeavour to notify you of significant changes.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Platform Rules.
